I was wondering about juice! I know that 3 glasses of orange juice for example counts as just one fruit portion but if I was to have a glass of apple juice and a glass of orange juice, is that still just one portion or is it two?

fruit juice, whatever the type, quantity, combination only counts as one. This is because juice only adds so much value (e.g it lacks fibre and it is high in sugar) so you should aim for at least 4 'proper' fruit and veg on top of any juice.

How many grapes do you have to eat to count as a portion, or any other small sized fruit, rasps, strawbs etc?

I must eat about 10 portions a day then, since I live on fruit and veg !

Easy to eat that much fruit as summer here in Australia means peaches, plums, mangoes...we are VERY spoilt!

This is another way of looking at the balance of what you eat.. the FSA Eatwell Plate (http://www.eatwell.gov.uk/healthydiet/eatwellplate/). :)

I know it's not for the UK, but this is what I use: http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/fn-an/alt_formats/hpfb-dgpsa/pdf/food-guide-aliment/view_eatwell_vue_bienmang-eng.pdf
I find it very helpful, as it gives examples of how much of something is considered a serving.
