I am trying to find a copy of an out of date book for my Husband. It was a book about the 20th Century with photos and stories of mankinds achievements. Its out of print now, and was published around 2000. It was quite a large book and came in a slipcase. I thought the cover was white, but Mr Nellie thinks it was blue. We both think it was called something along the lines of "20th Century". Can anyone help?

Thanks!

I have a great big book of the kind you describe called The 20th Century Chronicle - the one you are referring to I think was similar :smile2:

Sounds like "the chronicle of the 20th centry" why my grandad has, it is (or at least was) available on CD-Rom maybe you could get it that way? (book costs an absolute fortune as far as i know) cos we used to have it on cd rom when i was younger (infact i will look and see if we still have it)

*edit* you can get it used on amazon for about 3 pounds (which i have just done)

I thought it was the Mercer book, and when I showed Mr Nellie he said it was a different one.

I'm sure it's this one though...
