Had a serious pile of ironing to get through today and happened to flick through the telly channels and came across this film. I forgot how wonderful it was. Henry Fonda, Katherine Hepburn and Jane Fonda. It is a lovely feel good film. Anyone else remember watching it. It certainly helped me whizz through the ironing...lol. Or has anyone else read the book if there is one?

I do remember this lovely film, although it has been a long time since I watched it. It was the last movie Henry Fonda appeared in. I think it may have won an Academy Award.

I certainly do remember it Diane, lovely film. Henry Fonda was so sweet and so was Katharine Hepburn.

It won Katherine Hepburn her fourth Oscar for Best Actress.

It was one of these films that didn't really look like it had dated that much either. Maybe one I should look out for on DVD.

I watched it a few months ago, I think on TCM and it really is a lovely movie, the scenery is stunning and the acting is wonderful. :D

I'm watching "The revenge of the pink panther" on dvd with peter sellers it's funny and timeless
