Avatars - Can I have one please?

OK, I confess it - I am a technological luddite. I have searched the board to find out how I insert an avatar, without any joy. Now it may be that all of you good people have silently conspired behind my back to frustrate me beyond words. It may be that secretly there is a moderator out there somewhere with an 'I'll get Derek if it kills me!' mentally. Alternatively, it may just be I missed something when I joined.

The first two sound sexier, but I am too senile so, I'll opt for the first one. So please folks - put a (not really) old and senile grumpy, cantankerous guy back on track. How do I insert an avatar?

User CP -> Settings and options -> Edit Avatar -> then you can choose one that you like from here or add your own
