:readingtwo: Long time back in senior school I vaguely remember one of the books in our English Lit class being "set in the future, I think there had been a nuclear bomb, and it was around children who could communicate using telepathy, from across the other side of the world" Thats all I can remember, I know its vague, but I would really like to read it now that I am older and wiser. Anyone know what its called and the author??????

The Chrysalids by John Wyndham (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Chrysalids) perhaps? I did it in school too.

Yep, I wondered about The Chrysalids.
Hopefully butterfly will come back and tell us if either are correct. :)

I read a description of The Chrysalids last night and also noticed that it seemed to fit this thread.

It is 'the Chrysalids'. Thank you ever so much, have just got a copy from my library and am about to sit down and enjoy.
Next on my list is 'Children of Morrow', I read the description and fancy this too.
Thanks to everyone.
