It's called The Postcode Challenge. They went to film it last week and I wasn't needed (thankfully, as my mornng sickness has been terrible!). They'll be on some time in the next 16 weeks, but they didn't win (although they might have done if I'd been with them - LOL!), they did get down to the last two teams, so it wasn't totally humiliating for them at least!

Sounds intriguing. Who are "they"? How did you get to be almost on it? Tell me more please

One of my colleagues (fro a different department) needed people who lived in the same postcode area to be on a team for a quiz show called The Postcode Challenge. I live just around thecorner from her so I volunteered, but seeing as how I've been on TV quite a bit in the past and actively hate it, I said that I would only do it if she couldn't get anyone else. In the end she filled her quota, but asked me to be the Reserve ni case anyone got sick and couldn't go to the filiming (sensible, as it was the middle of winter!). I was filmed with them for the intro section, althogh I doubt my individual intro will get used on the show (as I wasn't there for flming), but I was in all the group shots, so I'll be those bits. They went to Glasgow for the flming last week, but although they did really well and got down to the last two teams, they didn't get to the final. Their "episode" will get shown some time in the next 16 weeks.

You can find out more about the show HERE (http://www.stv.tv/content/tv/postcode_challenge). It plays on Monday nights on STV at 8pm.

Ah I see. Thanks both.

Probably best that you won't be on it then.

Now you can probably guess what my next questions going to be? What TV appearances have you made in the past? Is that to do with your acting?

See I told you I was nosy.

Mostly when I was at college. We used to get drafted in to do things like Saturday morning TV shows (I was a featured dancer onsome of those), and as a kid I was on a show called Morning Glory where school choirs would be on every morning. My school choirs was so popular we were on for weeks. I was right in the middle of the front row.

My Saturday morning claim to fame is that I was once interviewed by Gaz Top.

I do not enjoy being on the telly.

THe funny thing is, despite being on the stage for most of my life, I actually hate to have lots of people looking at me! The thought that potentially MILLIONS might be looking makes me want to throw up! I was more nervous about being on stage - I used to live in permanent fear that I would get out there and completely forget my lines. I did once forget the entirety of the famous Balcony Scene when I was playing Juliet - I got as far as "Romeo, Romeo, wherefor art thou Romeo?" and a few lines past and then drew a complete and utter blank! Fortunately, the guy playing Romeo was excellent and fed me the lines so well that it went virtually unnoticed. I think I was mostly thrown becase we were performaing a slightly cut version, so I kept forgetting which lines were cut and which were still there. Lets just say that Romeo got a BIG kiss that night when we got offstage - he saved my neck!
