I am legend~DVD

I have read the book and really enjoyed it and now I am thinking of buying the DVD from Play.com. Has anyone seen this film and is it worth my while buying the DVD?

There are three films based on the I Am Legend book. Vincent Price's Last Man on Earth is closest to the book, Charlton Heston's Omega Man is a bit camp and silly and Will Smith's has some great imagery and excellent acting by Will, but it does, like Omega Man, change a great deal of the book. Having said that, it is good (apart from the comic-like CGI'd infected).

I'm a huge fan of the book, so was left a little disappointed by Will's latest take on it.

Sorry I am late in your reply to my post but I would like to say a big :thankyousigna2: for all your info I think I will go for Vincent Price because I like my films to be near the book as possible.
