A solid old school actor who had commercial and critical success in many roles including Blue Thunder, Marathon Man, The French Connection and most noteably Jaws.

RIP Chief Brody. :(

Oh no. He was a brilliant actor. I loved him in Jaws.

He died in hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. He had been treated there for multiple myeloma, a cancer of the plasma cell, for the past two years.

Multiple Myeloma is the cancer my mum has got.

I was just watching 'Jaws 2' last night and I heard the news this morning, it is so sad, a great loss. RIP
