Supergran, highlight the bit of text you want to conceal and click the S button on the toolbar. It's on the far right and has a large S with a yellow background. Hope this helps!
I can't wait to get started on this book. I have one other book I need to read first but hopefully I'll get started on this one early next week.

However, the 'S' isn't in the Quick Reply, so the code you need is:
[ spoiler ]text you want to hide[ /spoiler ] (remove gaps)

Just realised that the spoiler tags don't work when you're previewing a member's posts. Luckily it only shows up the first line or so but could be a little iffy in some cases.
