Just thought I'd mention it's worth signing up on the Borders website for their e-mail newsletter, as they send out quite generous discount vouchers every couple of months. Just got one for 25 per cent off - you can only use it in-store and it's limited to the coming weekend only, but if you can get to a store and have an irresistible urge to buy more books (and which of us hasn't?) it's a great deal.

And you don't get inundated with spam either.

Just thought I'd mention it.

Coincidently I signed up for this on Saturday with the promise of a 20% off voucher - I hadn't realised you also get them at intervals. Thanks Roland.:D

I've been getting a voucher from Borders every week. I think they are trying to send me broke. Of course, my friend says just because they send me a voucher it doesn't mean I have to use it, but who can resist? I got 50% off a children's book last week and 35% off another book the week before. I've got two current vouchers from them for 30% off a book or DVD, and 50% off selected bestsellers. Pretty good deals there but I think I'm going to try and resist these ones!
