I've noticed that each time I make a posting, my number of posts doesn't necessarily increase. Why is this?

Some forums don't count towards your post count. I think it's the Quiz/Games section - there's a sticky at the top of the relevant section that mentions this. :)

Edit: Yup, there's an Announcement at the top of the Quiz/Games section, that states that posts in that area don't count towards your post count.
