OK I know I have been here a while and should know these things but I have noticed some people have tidy little links to other sites, like 'Library Thing', Blog etc. I have one to Bookcrossing but would like to shorten it to say 'Bookcrossing and not the whole http thingy. Also for 'Library Thing' and anything else I may want to add. I obviously need a code or something before and after it but where do I find these? Tried the FAQ, but maybe I am not looking in the right place. :dunno:
Can :sign0163:help please.

From the FAQ:
Type the words you want to stick the link over, select the text, then click the 'insert link' button (looks like a globe with a chain link) and type the link into the pop up box.
I assume it's the same for a signature. :dunno:

That is better...a little bit neater....took me a while to get there, couldn't quite understand the instructions (not your fault angerball...lol) but then realised it was really a sort of cut and past type thingy....lol. Thanks for your help guys.

A code someone showed me on another forum is as follows
[ url= www. the url used in address bar. com ]Name of person [/ url]
You can copy and paste the url from the address bar in, and of course leave out the spaces I left in the above. Except of course you may have spaces in the "name of person" section.
