Please help find book!!!

Hi all
This is going to sound lame, but I am trying to find a book which I forgotten the title & the female author!!! helpful I know!
I saw it in a book store at Oslo airport-in English, paperback.
It is a love adventure story-based on a story told to the author by a grandma-I think it a newely released book & the winner of a book report.
The tiltle is the name of the two characters one male one female separated by the word and eg **** and ****

The only one I can think of is Iris and Ruby by Rosie Thomas (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Iris-Ruby-Rosie-Thomas/dp/0007173547/ref=pd_bbs_3/202-2992764-5030225?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1188049278&sr=8-3), but I'm not sure it matches your description entirely accurately!

My Mum recently read and enjoyed this. :)
