I was kindly sent one of these books (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Princess-Poppy-Twinkletoes/dp/0552556629/ref=sr_1_7/203-4014253-6708727?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1175934516&sr=1-7) from Random House, and it's just delightful. Amy, who's 3, loves listening to the CD, and following it in the book, but I think it would also be a good book to read for a slightly older child.
There are 2 versions on the CD aswell.. one plays a tume at the end of each page, so you know when to turn over, the other one doesn't.. great as a kiddies 'audio book'.. and Tasmin Outhwaite does a good job of narrating.
The pictures are lovely too, and there's a little letter in an envelope for the child, which is a nice touch.
Has anyone else bought these for children, or know of anything similar?
