We seem to have a traditional sweet for every occasion here! This is a "carnival" sweet, known as Prinjolata. (http://www.di-ve.com/dive/portal/portal.jhtml?id=268128&pid=1)

It looks delicious. Do you use Grand Marnier or Brandy.

Muggles, I have never done it myself, but some people use rum, others sherry or brandy...so I guess it's a matter of preference.(or availability!)

1 packaged browine mix, mixed according to directions and spread in the bottom of a 13X9 " pan. Bake.
While still warm, spread on 2 seven oz. containers of Marshmallow Creme.
Mix: 1 c. smooth p-nutbutter, 2 c. melted semi-sweet choc chips and 4 cups rice crispies.
Spread over marshmallow mix.
Refridgerate.
I keep these on hand weekly in our house. Guests think they're gourment. <wink> no one needs to know how easy they are!

I had a good laugh. Xcellent website wrath!.
I suppose, one can live on cat food and peanut butter as long as it's flushed down with plenty ofyour fridge's content( a good rinse of Margharita would do the trick).
But, oh my lord! That cookie dough made the cat food look appetising.
The dough looked like...hum....what's the word???... something discarded by dogs on a Parisian street pavement. if you follow my drift.
Thanks for a great laugh Wrath. We want another one!!!

Your 'Cooking With Wrath' stories are classic
Thought it was very brave to show us the contents of your fridge.
When you started talking about your Stanley Powerlock tape measure and the need for blenders etc , I seriously thought you were going to come out with a Tim the Tool-Man line "More power, arrh arrh arrh!"
Must have taken you ages to put these all together, but it was well worth it. Hope lots of other people read them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for a good laugh (recipes a bonus)

Last night my youngest daughter was making butterfly cakes for her cake club - a group of her friends take it turns to bake and bring their cakes into school. There are some left and I'm just thinking about having one - now do I choose the jelly sweets one, the orange jelly slice one or the one with orange butter cream. Decisions, decisions . . .

Wow, major memories come flashing back -- the key when I was a young boy was to get them marshmallows on fire! Then, I'd put the flame out and eat them: you just can't beat fire and food when you're a kid.

I'm worryingly addicted to raspberries [...]
I can relate, Princess! Every time I see a recipe for pie or something with berries, I want to replace whatever berries the recipe calls for (particulary not-so-well-liked cranberries with Thanksgiving on the horizion) with delicious raspberries. Mmm. Smucker's Red Raspberry Preserves is my only choice for jam!
What do you do for brownies with raspberry filling? Do you have to partially fill the baking pan with brownie batter, bake it, freeze it, and put the filling and the rest of the brownie batter on? I'm excited to try something like that to dress up a simple brownie mix (especially since most brownie-from-scratch recipes call for six or seven eggs!); I'm just afraid I'll mix up the filling and batter. My family and I will thank you for your suggestions!
