My sister is reading The Historian at the moment. I think she's struggling with it a bit as she started it end of Nov/beginning of Dec, and she is half way through it. She's letting me borrow it after her.

I just started reading 'Chocolat', I really like the style of Joanne Harris's style of writing, it could just be me but it so relaxed and care free. I have not seen the film, 'Chocolat', but I will renting it out real soon.
'Nocturnes' by John Connolly, is a assortment of different stories, so far so good.

Just getting into 'The Robber Bride' by Margaret Atwood, a bit off topic, but my concentration levels are not great at the moment, although reading does help.
I really enjoy Margaret Atwood's style of writing, it is incredibly straightforward and clear, she has something to say and she says it.

I think I'll give This Book... a try - sounds to be good.
Trouble is, I haven't really been getting much reading done - I've got several plays and a book of poetry to read for English Lit. and revision for the other subjects to do, so books have been placed second for a little while.
And there's so many I want to read. :weeping:

Glad you enjoyed it Paula :) It's a cracker isn't it?
I like how Margaret Atwood seems to be a deceptively 'cuddly' writer, yet her books are actually very dark!
