This is some list!

Jane Smiley - have you read anything by her? I started to read her up coming book Ten Days in the Hills but the first fifty pages were about this elderly couple recently in love, about making a softcore porno - with details! I definitely had to take a pass. The cover was definitely beautiful and made me curious.

On Beauty by Zadie Smith - I've heard mixed reviews, and the bold cover made me grab it, and I started to read it, but it was just so bland, and the plot really wasn't going anywhere, so I had to drop it. I've heard White Teeth was very good, haven't read it myself though.

Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom - I have been wanting to read this book for a long time! And especially so after reading For One More Day. He is a FANTASTIC author, no doubt.

Lucky and The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold - Both were very good, however, i personally felt that Lucky was plenty better. There are some parts that are very tough to get through, but a good read, and i feel, better than The Lovely Bones.

Red are the more recent books. I have plenty of room for the books once I get the bookcases lol.

Not read anything by Jane Smiley, which is weird as I haven't read much by any of the book authors neither.
