...Just finished reading this to my son. I loved watching his face as I tried to make my voice mirror the "grave and eerie happinings." He loved it too!!
The thing is...i'm quite hoarse now and sounding like a Mummy myself!

Any of our young readers read this?

Who's it by, Mau? I'm always interested in kids' books - I have 3 neices aged 1 1/2, 6 & 9, & a 4-y-o godson, so books are always a good idea!

Thanks, Mau - I think I shall have to start collecting them for my godson soon. I remember my cousin being very into them when he was younger...

I'm not a "younger reader" so I'm not sure if I should answer! And I haven't read this one...

I have read other Goosebumps books though, and think they are so good for introducing horror to children! I read 3 or 4 at uni for a module I took about children's literature, and I was terrified!

My sister read a few of these to me when I was little, but I never really enjoyed them. Not sure why, they just weren't my cup of tea.

My son enjoed it. Pity it is a bit too much to read by himself! It is a cute story - I caught myself skimming to see what happens next on a couple of occasions!! :shy:
