Kerrmit1992
Hi there guys, I am pretty new to the forum, I am looking for a book on survival, something like surviving entrapment or being lost, for example something like sanctum which I have just watched, or 127 days etc. Or something like Deep Blue Sea or Jurassic Park where they are trying to survive while avoiding the various things trying to kill them? I don't have the slightest idea why this may interest me but it really does. I read a book called hatchet while in school (Possibly 1st or 2nd year and I guess my interest in survival has took off from there. I guess that's why I am also a big fan of Bear Grylls, Anyone read his book? Thoughts? Look forward to your replies Thanks Craig
The Good Citizen
Between a Rock and a Hard Place - more for the survival element. It was the book on which 127 hours was based and supposed to also be a very good read.
helenajul
I would recommend The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. The series are absolutely amazing, and it sounds like exactly what you're looking for :-)

AlysonofBathe
The Road by McCarthy, dystopian like The Hunger Games, but still has a huge sci-fi element.
Nicola Booth
You could try Lord of the Flies, William Golding I have never read it but I think I watched a film or a series when I was younger. OR The Beach, Alex Garland I read the book and watched the film - both really good!
