DroidFighter
Hello forum readers! I would like to hear book suggestions for similar books to "The Lord Of The Rings" series as I am currently looking for a fantasy book to pass the time with knights, dragons and adventures. Thanks in advance DroidFighter
dawnbirduk
Hi and welcome I would recommend The Belgariad Series by David Eddings, a series of five books the first being The Pawn of Prophecy
Hyzenthlay
The Riftwar Saga by Raymond E. Feist, Starting with Magician! I got a kick out of them.

Fowz
George R.R. Martin's medieval fantasy series "A Song of Ice and Fire" is a must read. "A Game of Thrones" "A Clash of Kings" "A Storm of Swords" "A Feast for Crows" "A Dance with Dragons" You will not be disappointed!
Karsa Orlong
George R.R. Martin's medieval fantasy series "A Song of Ice and Fire" is a must read. "A Game of Thrones" "A Clash of Kings" "A Storm of Swords" "A Feast for Crows" "A Dance with Dragons" You will not be disappointed! You will be when you get to the end of A Dance with Dragons and realise there's no end in sight! Seriously, though, great series, but nothing like Lord of the Rings. I'd go along with The Belgariad and Riftwar Saga, definitely, and maybe add Tad Williams' Memory, Sorrow & Thorn series.
Nali
Give the Shannara series a go too. They are very interesting, theres a big quest, there are elfs and men and all sorts of nasties and best of all, its more or less a complete story (the shannara triology at least) and if you want to read more than 3-4 books you can read them in any order really. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shannara I would start with the Original Shannara Triology, and see how you feel when you're done.
