Welcome to the Forum :readingtwo:

Hi guys, thanks for the warm welcome. Yes. All my books have been published.

This is the synopsis of my recent Crime, action, adventure novel.

Four former soldiers, who are brought together by fate, realise their military skills have become a wasted resource. They form as a team, utilising their specialist skills to steal a vast sum of money, previously recovered by the police and guarded by the RAF Regiment. The task is initially deemed impossible, but a stroke of luck changes this.

Two illegal immigrants on the run from their own country, enter the UK via the Channel Tunnel. They plan the same heist without knowledge of the other team, carrying out a raid on one of two heavily guarded security vans.

The money is stolen, leaving one group empty handed and pursuing the other; resulting in kidnapping, torture and death. Eventually, the captors are led to a hidden weapons cache in Northern Ireland, where the money is stashed.

Newly promoted, Detective Sergeant Dave Watson is assigned by the police as lead investigator and highlights the likelihood that the robbers have military skills and backgrounds. CCTV film footage is acquired from the channel tunnel and motorway cameras and is scrutinized, identifying the team and also two Kurds as known hardened criminals.

Meanwhile, M.I.6 express an interest in recruiting the former soldiers, wanting to setup a covert operations group and cover up their part in the robbery. However, changed plans alter this course and the team are double-crossed, leaving them to attempt to getaway!

Welcome to the forum, Steve.

That novel sounds interesting.

I'm training Karate since 4 years but only have the 6th kyu.

My first two books were autobiographies. The first one is not for the feint hearted, but that's the way it was in those days. The second one starts where the first one finishes and even explains why I wrote the first one.

I wrote the novel after these and being honest I thoroughly enjoyed writing it. I never planned any of it, I just wrote it from my subconscious and was pleased with the result. It did take a long time to complete though. Some book reviewers have reflected that it would a great movie, but I guess that's every author's dream.

Also: Karate is a great Martial Art. Your grade is fine, I guess its all about making the effort and enjoying your training too.

hiya Steven....welcome

Hi, and thanks for the welcome.

I have had good reviews about my latest book, but will wait for my response from the moderators to see how much information I can share with you. I have lived an interesting life over the years and did have a heck of a story to share with people in my autobiographies.

The novel has a purpose too, and I also want to get BCF to review this. Which I have requested.

Best Regards

My first book was a little shocking, to say the least, but that's the way it was in the 80's for me. My second book concluded my story and explained my journey in life that took me away from the beligerant mentality I developed in the Marines.

Here's 2 articles about me. I used a pen name but after my eldest brothers died I no longer cared about this.

This one is a 4 page interview in the Journal:

And this one was my local paper:
