Day 01 Best book you read last year-now that one is easy....The Book Thief by Markus Zuzak...I almost wish I hadn't read it just so I can read it again :(

I tried to get this from the library last week Sofia, but it was out, so I got The Messenger by him instead. It's excellent and I'll certainly be on the look out for The Book Thief next.

I was wondering how The Messenger was.....if it would live up to The Book Thief....have you finished it....?

About half way through. I'd need to read The Book Thief to compare them. It starts off very funny, with a real Aussie flavour then gets deeper. It's considered Young Adult Fiction here, but I'm not finding it at all juvenile.I'm loving the main character.

I want a full review when you're done :D

Day 02 – A book that you’ve read more than 3 times

Does reading If You Give a Mouse a Cookie or Goodnight Moon to my daughter when she was younger count?

I've never read a book for myself 3 times, though I have read A Christmas Carol twice

Day 08 – Most overrated book

The Secret History-Donna Tartt-I've heard nothing but good things about this book....but I found it long and dull

Day 09 – A book you thought you wouldn’t like but ended up loving

The Help-Kathryn Stockett-I only glanced at it for a moment when my niece suggested I read it; then tossed it aside for a bit thinking it was some random chick-lit.....it wasn't, and so glad I gave it another look :D
