kurtz Posted May 6, 2011 Share Posted May 6, 2011 I read this bok because it takes place in Chiang Mai but it turned out to be a tremendoys story and I think people everywhere would enjoy it. it is about woman anthropologist studying hilltribr who murder a missionary. Book is very objective about both scientists and missionaries and is not political but just tells very beautiful and interesting story, which is sad but very funny in many places and also gives very authentic description of Thailand.
