I actually have this book - although I think my copy has a white cover, so I might have a slightly different version - I bought it ages ago for inspiration and to get recommendations, but I never thought to incorporate it into a challenge. Fab idea and one I'd love to join in with if that's okay?

Yes that's fine haha :) I really need to update this and see where I'm at as I haven't for about a year! Might do that this afternoon :D

I'm saying these books were read in 2016 as I cant find when I read some of these.

2016 Book 1 - Alex Rider Series - Anthony Horowitz

Age Rating - 12+

Recommendations - Chris Ryan Alpha Force - Survival and Rat Catcher (UTBG)

The Power of Five Series - Ravens Gate - Anthony Horowitz

My Thoughts - I read some of this series but gave up in the end as a lot of the books were similar. I think I'd have enjoyed it more if Id have read it in my teens.

Rating 3/5

2016 Book 2 - The Eyre Affair - Jasper Fforde

Age Rating - 16+

Recommendations - Is Heathcliff a Murderer? John Sutherland

Good Omens - Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman (UTBG)

My Thoughts - I couldn't really get into this book - it was a little bit too out there for me which is a shame as I really wanted it like it!

2016 Book 3 - James Bond Books - Ian Fleming

Age Rating - 16+

Recommendations - Patriot Games - Tom Clancy

                                  Silverfin - Charlie Higson (UTBG)

The Spy Who Came in from the Cold (UTBG)

My Thoughts - I'm about halfway through this series and I'm really enjoying it. it is quite dated now but it does transport you back to the James Bond era.
