I had a Chai Latte for the first time the other day and thought it was rather lovely and imagine Masala Chai would be something similar? poppy Posted January 8, 2013 Share Posted January 8, 2013 My comfort drink - masala chai I can understand why it's your comfort drink, it has a very soothing effect. I was put off Chai Latte originally because i thought it was just going to be a sweet milky tea. I don't drink tea with sugar and couldn't really imagine it made with milk. But it's got a lovely flavour, I'll definitely try making it at home. I've still got to track down some cardamon pods, but I think there is a little shop in town that will have them. I do like a bit of a variety of drinks but orange juice is by far my favourite and hence I usually drink it. I don't like anything with bubbles.
