dtrpath27
Roasted sweet potato topped with melted butter, heavy cream, brown sugar and a dash of vanilla. So warm and tasty! I'm washing it down with some hazelnut coffee and thinking about a nap.

dtrpath27
I made some bread today, I'm having a slice with tea. Nom nom! Ooh! Fresh-baked bread sounds divine. I really want to learn how to make it. I did finally run downstairs and grab a slice of pie while reading, very appropriately, The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley. I'd like to learn how to make a pie... The bread is really easy to make and I've been thinking about sharing the recipe with you guys but I just haven't had the time to do so yet. It's not a loaf sort of bread, more like a flat, 3-4 centimeters thick bread that takes up the whole baking tray.
pontalba
Fresh baked anything is wonderful! Just eating 7-grain bread with butter, peanut butter, and apricot jam on it with a lovely cup of black, hot tea. Lovely.

Nollaig
I'm not eating anything yet but I plan on getting some nice things. I had planned to yesterday but *nowhere* was open. I didn't realise New Year's Day was as much a close-fest as Christmas Day, even in the city centre. So, depending on whether I go to the shop up the road, or actually into town, I forsee things like Celebrations or Cadbury's biscuits in my future!
