      March Supporter Giveaway   03/02/2019

So March has crept up on us and I'm thrilled to finally show you the GREAT (he he...) March giveaway!     This time we have a gorgeous print of The Great Gatsby's most famous line from thestorygift.co.uk AND a Great Gatsby tea from the Literary Tea Company! This particular tea is Peach Blossom (which sounds delicious and I kind of wish I could keep it myself...) and the tin features another Gatsby quote.  If you'd like to see the other literary teas available (there are lots, I spent ages looking) you can find them both at the Literary Tea Company's etsy store (https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/LiteraryTeaCompany) or at their own website, theliteraryteacompany.co.uk .   As always, supporters are automatically entered into the giveaway and if you're not a supporter but want to be included in this months giveaway you can become a supporter on patreon here... https://www.patreon.com/bookclubforum .   A winner will be chosen at random on the last day of the month. Good luck!

Just a cup of tea at the moment. I didn't really fancy anything for breakfast, so I'll have an early lunch in a bit.

Just had a chicken tikka sandwich with lettuce and mayo on brown. And some diet 7up. Might have a couple of homemade cookies.

What's a 'cornetto' Chrissy?

I just finished a late breakfast of scrambled egg whites (shhh I let a teeny bit of yolk come to the party too) and crusty toasted sourdough.

This is a pic of one. It's basically an ice cream cone, lined with a thin layer of chocolate, and filled with a soft ice cream with it's added flavour (mint choc chip, choc and nuts, strawberry etc). It's very naughty, and a little bit delish.

Oh, yum, Chrissy!! I've had those, but I'm not sure what we call them here. Growing up my favorite was a drumstick, which is exactly what you described but the ice cream sticking out the top of the cone was coated with peanuts. Ahh the memories!

Peanuts and Cracker Jacks! It's the opening day of baseball in our new stadium here today so they brought all kinds of food into work :friends0:.
