SueK
Does anyone know of some good fiction centred around the French Resistance? I've read Charlotte Grey but would like to read some more of a similar style. Thanks
Readwine
You may try these. Quite a mixture: Charlotte Gray by Sebastian Faulks (21) Resistance: A Woman's Journal of Struggle and Defiance in… by Agnes Humbert (10) Outwitting the Gestapo by Lucie Aubrac (6) Suite Fran
Chrissy
Marge Piercy's 'Gone To Soldiers' is a book I have recommended a number of times on the forum. It's a book that weaves together the lives of many different women during WW2, with some sections devoted those involved with the French Resistance. It's a very good book. SueK
Wow, thanks Readwine and Chrissy. There are a few on Readwine's list that I have read (the non fiction ones) so I shall enjoy reading through the list at leisure to see what takes my fancy. Brilliant:D That should keep me out of mischief this weekend:mrgreen:
