krme2053 Posted February 11, 2010 Share Posted February 11, 2010 The book is a romance/suspense about: A father who has two daughters and a son- the older daughter has beauty, is wild and promiscuous and the younger daughter is more plain and a tomboy. One the other side of town there are two brothers who are known as the bad boys of the town and with a mother who is known as the town crazy. The father of the daughters needs help around his land and hires the younger brother to help around. The younger brother is intrigued by the younger daughters innocence , but she is a few years younger than him so he feels appalled that he has these feelings for her. Meanwhile the older sister tries to make him hers by seducing him, but she is not who he wants. So she decides to tease 3 other boys her age who are mentioned throughout book and don't appreciate it. Over a period of time the Younger boy & daughter start to fall for each other. A fire happens at the girls family land and the older sister ends up dying in the blaze. The younger brother is suspected of setting it on fire so, due to older accusations from his past.The younger daughter gives him her horse along with a necklace to remember her by and tells him to flee while he can never to return. Several years later the younger sister runs into the older brother of her one time true love. They get close and over time they get married. The younger brother hears about it and returns back home in secret. The brothers meet (where the sister died) to talk about the girl when yet another fire happens. One brother dies and the other is critically injured. The younger brother takes the older brothers hand and puts the necklace the younger daughter gave him years ago, making the younger daughter believe her real true love had returned and died in the fire. Never getting a chance to see/talk to him again. As the younger brother begins to heal she realizes it was her husband who died in the fire that night and she now has a second chance with her true love from years ago. anyone who has read this book the Author and Title are needed..lol..i remember the book well, but can't remember the important part of who i was written by or what it was called!!!!
