Ricco Balboa
Hello I have read the Thin Red Line written by James Jones and enjoyed it. I do like reading dark books. I read a lot of war books but most are factual. I liked The Thin Red Line and because it was a factual story. Are there similar books out ther like James Jones' book. If you know what i mean? Thanks Ricco
Chrissy
We have threads discussing and recommending books on World War One and World War Two. Book relating to later wars, I think you will have to use the search facility on the forum to dig those out, or perhaps using Wikipedia might get you one or two results. I have been recommended 'Generation Kill' by Evan Wright although I haven't read it yet myself. This is set 2003 Iraq and is a chronicle of the author's time spent with US Marines.
