chesilbeach
Just trying to think of new word game, and came up with this one to try ... Each guess has to be the previous word with one letter added or taken away, so for example, if I started with pant the next guess could be paint followed by pint followed by pin followed by pine. chesilbeach
Sorry Nollaig, but Vladd is right. You can't change a letter, you must add or remove a letter to the previous word. So, I'm going to go back to CaliLily's tart and my next word is ... Art

chesilbeach
(do abbreviations count?) I don't see why not - it's a word we use in everyday language, so it seems perfectly valid to me. Lads

Nollaig
Fads is still changing the 'L' to an 'F', rather than adding or removing a letter... I think the reason we're getting confused is because there's a really long running thread where you DO change one letter. I have to think carefully about it Anyway, going back to Beth's Lads, I say Lad.
