MyBooks
I only started reading Innocent Traitor, because I had nothing else to read, but by the time I'd read the first few pages, I was well and truly addicted. I then proceeded to read the entire book within 2 days, only putting it down if it was absolutely necessary! This is an amazing novel, about a truly brave young lady and will not fail in making the reader cry. I recommend this to any serious reader. You'll love it. Angel
This is one of my all time favourites. My heart really went out to that poor child. I would also highly recommend her other fiction book The Lady Elizabeth

NightOwl
I've had Innocent Traitor sat on my shelf for a while now, so I'm going to make a start on it today. Just the sort of book for those cold winter nights!

Easy Reader
I was so pleased I read this book. I had no idea who Lady Jane Grey was other than some woman who was on the thrown for about 2 weeks and was always under the impression that she put herself there. I spent the entire book feel sorry for her and much hatrid for her Mother. This is the only Alison Weir book I have read I really must look out for some others. One of my favourite books of hers is her biography of Eleanor of Aquitaine a fantastic and interesting woman.
Nali
I started reading this one last night, and ended up reading until the sun was almost up before I had the sense to go to bed. I really enjoy this one, and can't wait to keep going!!
lynb
Hi - I loved this book, what I love most about both Alison Weir and Philippa Gregory isthat they really rsearch the histoirical facts and then add a twist of fiction - brilliant. If you liked this you will also like, The White Queen, The Red Queen, The Lady Elizabeth, and almost anything by the two above authors. Booknutt
I'm currently reading P.G.'s "The Queens Fool", and recently finished A.W.'s "Lady Elizabeth" - both great as novels, and learning books too. Both these authors have stimulated my childhood interest in history again - and make refreshing it a lot of pleasure. Anyone with school age youngsters in the family could do worse than point them this way for accuracy of detail and daily lifestyles of the characters and times. FraggleBuster
I've read The Innocent Traitor and Lady Elizabeth. Both are excellent books. Like others, I hated Jane's parents for their behavior towards an innocent child.

cuppycakes
Has anyone read her book The Six Wives of Henry VIII? When I began learning about Tudor history that's the first book I read. It was excellent.
