Tiger's list

The first day at school wasn't a bad one: I got in the Achievement Book for making Cosmo so carefully, we did some singing practice for Oliver Twist and we played loads of spoirts games, like Hockey, Basket ball, Tennis, Babmington and Cricket.

I will soon start My Mum's From Pluto by Gwyneth Rees. I hope that I'll enjoy it as much as Shakespeare's Secret!

Tiger's

And here's one of Shakespeare's Secret by Elise Broach...

With a Shakespearian name like Hero, settling into a new town is never that easy. At least this time, there's a mystery to be solved: who robbed a priceless diamond? Why does old Mrs Roth know so much about the event? And why is Danny, mot popular boy in town, so desperate to help?

I haven't read the whole book yet, but for me it still works a treat for me! So far: 10/10

Well... I was very wrong. The old owner of the house hid it in the porch light, but when Danny and Hero found it, Danny sent it to his mum

Today I went to the library again and kept it simple with just these books:

Lucy Daniels- Following the Rainbow

Joshua Wright- The Plotless, Pointless, Pathetic Sir Glame

As you've probably guesses, Following the Rainbow is another dolphin story. But what type of dolphin? Well, this one is about the second largest dolphin, the Pilot Whale. I'm currently reading it and am already on page 87- it's a good book!

The Plotless, Pointless, Pathetic Sir Glame was hilarius (SP)- now one of my favourite books. It'll be such a shame to return it back to the library!- LOL

You certainly race through those books, Tiger! I love Roald Dahl too - The Twits is still one of my favourites to this day. have you read that one yet?

And I'll look forward to hearing what you think of A Series of Unfortunate Events, as i'm thinking of getting hold of that one myself... :D

I see that you have some Michael Morpurgo on your list, Tiger. Have you read the Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips?

It's a really good book about a girl and her pet cat. It's set in the second world war, but it's not a war book and has a really interesting twist in it.

From what you have read, and what I've seen said, I think you would enjoy it.

Oh, it was funny!

The main character's mum was a teacher and had promised him that she won't embarass him again. Of course, that was a great big laugh as it was a massive lie. The adventures in it were funny!
