SueK
I did a search first and couldn't find anything on this so I thought I would give this book a mention;) Address Unknown is only about 64 pages long and is probably one of the most powerful stories to come out of Nazi Germany. It is a series of letters written between two business partners in the Art World, both lived in California, one was German and the other Jewish and before the war, got on extremely well. The German decides to move back to his native Germany and in so doing gets gradually brainwashed by Hitler's propaganda. I will say no more - suffice to say you will be very moved by this book. the book is by Kathrine Kressmann Taylor but she called herself just Kressmann Taylor as, she thought, sounding like man would give her book more credibility. This book could be read in one sitting ..... Edited December 4, 2008 by SueK Propaganda sounded stronger than "views"
Michelle
Is this fiction, or real letters?

Michelle
Ah, thanks.. I shall move this to a better section. It does sound rather interesting, but it's a shame it's the price of a normal book if it's so short.
SueK
I agree, it is expensive. I actually got it from my local library. But I could understand buying this book and keeping it to bring out every now and again. I think it is one of those books you need to own. If you can get hold of it in the library, I urge people to read it.
