I think I heard the other day that Witherspoon did play Pattinson's mother in a movie a while back.

 

 

I just had to google that.....apparently they DID play a mother-son role in 2004's Vanity Fair, but the scene got cut in the end.

I don't really have trouble imaging RP as a young Jacob, but Reese makes Marlena look much older than Jacob as opposed to what I imagined whilst reading the book. I haven't seen the film yet though so I won't judge, but Reese seems to look, um, very cougar-ish in her role :giggle:.

My bookclub on goodreads.com just picked this book for this month and I finished it in about four days! It's been a long time since a story cought me like that, I fell completely in love!

 

Nice to find out there was a movie, I had no idea. Deffinetly on my to-watch list!
