What year was this book published?

Recommended Posts

I recently bought this copy of David Copperfield at an Oxfam book shop, and I was just wondering how old it might be. It looks pretty old, but as you can see there is no year of publishing or any other details anywhere in the book. I have tried googling it in many different ways as well, but I can't seem to find anything. So I just wanted to ask here in case someone might have some idea? It's probably nothing special, but I was just curious!

Thank you!

Hi Alena, I'm guessing there was meant to be a picture here but we can't see it.

Have you tried looking up the publisher? Sometimes there are small changes in a publishing company name over time and that lets you narrow down the dates.

I love finding interesting old books in charity shops and David Copperfield is one my favourites, I hope you manage to find out more about it :).
