Just finished reading War of the Wolf by Bernard Cornwell and what a great read. This is one of my favorite time periods, and if it is for you too, maybe also check out ltearally anything by Sharon Kay Penham, Servant of the Crown by Paul Bennett and The Winter Queen by Elizabeth Chadwick.

War of the Wolf is book 11 of the series. I may try book 1 and see if I like it, if so, it will give me a lot of reading.

If you like historical novels with lots of battles, bloody and violent in 'em, you'll like the series, muggle not. :)

 

I do like it, but take lengthy rests between books as I get weary of the violence in between the developing story.
