Guest
Hi, I would really love to track down a book which I read nearly 50 years ago, while in my early teens. Memory ( and we all know how unreliable that can be ) would say that the book was titled either "A Winter's Walk" or "A Walk in Winter" but obviously I've tried internet searching for those titles with no results. I can't remember the name of the author. The book recounts the experiences of an older gentleman walking through rural England in what I'm guessing were the inter-war years. The places he stayed, the villages he passed through and the people he met. It was an interesting social document of those times, and I would love to read it again. If this sounds familiar to anyone, or anyone has any more ideas how I might go about tracking this book down, I would be extremely grateful. Thank you.
