The Metropolitan Police Guide 1896 Second Edition

Hello, I am new here and I would like to ask a question.
I stumbled upon a £4 book in a charity shop the other day that I just had to buy! It is called 'The Metropolitan Police Guide.' The publication date is 1896 and it is the Second Edition.
After some extensive research I discovered that only two other copies of the second edition are known. One is held at the Brixham Heritage Museum and the other is at Oxford University Library. I checked on the National Archives and it seems that they are missing a copy of the second edition, so I am being pressured by some people into donating it to them.

I have no idea how many of these books would have been made, but I don't suspect many because they were only handed out to The Metropolitan Police Official Reciever and he would have distributed them to the Police Stations throughout London.

The book is a complete guide to every single law at the time, including punishment (whipping, death penalty etc) and would have even been used in court houses by judges as a reference book to help pass sentence.

The fact that this book is proving extremely difficult to get a valuation on is making me believe that it could be worth a little bit, but I don't care about the money, I'm more interested in the history behind it. If anybody here knows, or knows of someone that would be able to tell me more information, then please comment. ANY help would be greatly appreciated,

Thank you!
