The chunky knit blanket I bought my mom for Christmas just arrived. It's in a huge box- the yarn is about as wide as my arm! It's a gorgeous grey color, I'm so excited to give it to her :)

Xiao-Xiao`s already enjoying her executive kitty activity centre, ie, cat tree.I`ve seeded it with crunchies and rubbed her little face with my hand, then rubbed my hand on the tree, so it smells of her.:)

I`ve bought a bunch of books as presents - 3 of Adam hall`s Quiller books, Blythewood ( Carol Goodman), Crocodile one the Sandbank (Elizabeth Peters), The Beekeeper`s Apprentice ( Laurie R King ), Kitchen ( Banana Yoshimoto ), The Spellman Files ( Lisa Lutz ), Under the Cat`s Paw ( Tom Cox) and a Christmassy Laurie Lee, with essays recently found in the British Library. :)

She`s on her new toy most days now. :)  She`s also jumped on the table a couple of times, to examine the Xmas Tree - apparently putting it on a table isn`t stopping the investigations.  :giggle2:

No, that's a random kitty. There are some pics of her somewhere in my book thread. :D
