yaryar444
I prefer non-fiction, but I don't mind fiction either. I don't study history as a subject, but when time permits, I like to read about the medieval age and the history of military.
Flip Martian
If you want to go back a little further (Roman times), Tom Holland's Rubicon is a great read. Is it strictly medieval military history you're in, or any historical military? I tend to read military memoirs but they might not be of interest to you. The same for medieval.
