librarianstale Posted June 13, 2015 Share Posted June 13, 2015 This book is a good introduction to longer reads for emerging readers, and I would aim it at 7+. The story is set in a school where a gang of children have already demonstrated sleuthing skills in a previous book (although this is not a series). When a French girl arrives as a new student one of the gang has to look after her and hilarity ensues when she is believed to be an undercover school inspector!
