Michelle
This is something I've seen a few times on twitter, and I've just had a go at setting up my own. The basic idea is that you set up a 'bookshop' with 12 books of your choosing.. you can go for a specific genre, share you last few reads, or go for your favourites.. and you can change them at any time. Then, when people take a look, if they want to buy a particular book, it goes through hive, so it's good if you want to help indepndent bookshops as well. So, for anyone who wants something else bookish to play with, it's https://www.myindependentbookshop.co.uk/ (and mine is https://www.myindependentbookshop.co.uk/MJMoore)
vodkafan
Really interesting idea. What happens if the books I choose are out of print and can't be bought?
Michelle
Well considering I didn't set up the site, and I've only just tried it myself, I don't know.
Athena
This is an interesting idea . I don't know if it'd work for me outside of the UK, but I liked looking at your shop! It's a shame it's limited to twelve books though, I'd have a hard time picking! VF, I bet you wanted some Jack Vance books ?
frankie
What a wonderful and clever idea! I've signed up with them but haven't gotten around to doing anything about my bookshop yet
Kell
I've set one up as well. If anyone's interested in taking a look, it's called Books of Kell and you can find it HERE.
