emelee
I've seen Billy Ellot THREE TIMES this week. First by myself to write questions for the students. And then two classes saw the film today. And I have to say this: no film is so good that it's worth watching three times in one week. Timstar
Carnage - Roman Polanski film with Kate Winslet, Jodie Foster, Christoph Waltz and John C. Reilly. Quite short and entertaining, definitely a good social commentary. Bit of an abrupt ending though.

Kylie
I saw Saving Mr Banks at the Sydney OpenAir Cinema last night (movies on the harbour, with the city, Opera House and Harbour Bridge as a backdrop). Excellent movie, I thought. Topped off with spectacular fireworks.Today I have watched Around the World in 80 Days and am currently watching The Time Machine (remake). Nothing could top the original. This TV channel appears to be having a sci-fi day because Contact is up next.
frankie
Mad Max 1, 2 and 3 last night. Could've really done without the third movie. Thank god three other people thought the same and we talked throughout the movie Mel Gibson was hot in the first two movies

Sounds brilliant Kylie .. what a fantastic venue I'm in two minds about seeing the movie as I know the ending and it parts company with the truth quite spectacularly but it does look like tremendous fun and the trailers look good. Raven
Just watched District 9 - a strange film, I'm not sure whether I liked it or not! Bet you don't look at prawns in the same way again. I like it, it's a nice change to see some mainstream sci-fi that hasn't come from the US.

emelee
NO! LOL. Then I promise I won't. Got too many films on my to-see list. Not as many as I have books on my to-read list though, but close enough.

When I saw him there for the first time, I gasped involuntarily and everyone looked at me to see what was up And it was awful when he was killed Edited February 16, 2014 by frankie
