Oblomov
Back in 1974, I read a very good cold war thriller called 34 East by Alfred Coppel. Even in those days it was a relatively unknown book and never really made its name. Yet, I think it is very well written with a fast-moving topical plot that is just as applicable today as it was over 30 years ago - in some ways more so. I recommend this book to anyone interested in international intrigue.
