Rachel56789
So today I went to my library to check out some reading material. After I finish Roverandom by J.R.R. Tolkien, I'm going to dive into City of Fire (book one of the city trilogy) and City of Ice (book two of the city trilogy) by Laurence Yep. Here's the description of book one: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6400940-city-of-fire and for book two: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/9897562-city-of-ice
Sakura
That doesn't sound bad at all. I've never heard of him, but it seems he's written quite a few YA/children's books. When you're through them, Rachel, I'd like to know what you think of them. The reviews compare him to Eoin Colfer, so I'd like to know how they compare to the Artemis Fowl series. Also, can I hope for some pulp in the books? The time frame and book cover seem right for it.

I know you might think it's weird but I like YA fantasy, I'm Christian so I just want good, clean entertaining books. I'm still careful with what I read (I don't want to read anything too inappropriate.) I had to be honest :/
Sakura
Considering it's just YA month I don't think it's all that weird to read that as an adult. I did not mean to imply that.
