I'm doing this challenge and I've read some brilliant books (and some not-so-brilliant!) that I definitely wouldn't have picked up otherwise.  I hope you enjoy it.  :)

That's one of the reasons I'm so excited about it. It will give me a chance to read books I wouldn't have otherwise.

Good luck! :)

Thanks!

Nope, haven't forgotten about the challenge!

211. United Kingdom - "Roumanian Journey" - Sacheverell Sitwell, 4/5

It was good, very interesting view of a very different Romania - the book was written in 1938.

212. United States of America - "The Martian" by Andy Weir, 5/5

Loved it and really wanted to read it before watching the movie - I thought it had the perfect amount of drama, humour and tech language; definitely my kind of book!

Now 4/224 in the challenge.

Good luck Anisia - I have been doing this challenge too for the past couple of years and am finding it great fun. There are loads of great books out there than I can recommend. It really depends on how you are going to do this though whether by authors country of birth of where the book is set. I find the second approach works best for me, but of course we all do things differently.

^^ Thank you, I definitely will need recommendations! I plan on doing this by the author's country of birth.

193. Sweden - "The Hundred-Year-Old-Man Who Climber Out of the Window and Disappeared" - Jonas Jonasson, 4/5

It was a very good read, glad I finally got around to this book. Loved the mixture of drama and humour.
