poppy
Can anyone recommend me some well written Star Wars books please? My son has recently got a Kindle and would like to read them, but imagine some are a lot better than others. depending on the authors. poppy
There is a thread here with some suggestions. Thanks very much Raven. That's great. I did a forum search, but couldn't find anything.
Raven
It's probably a little out of date now, but it is a good starting point.
chesilbeach
There's actually another thread too: http://www.bookclubforum.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/1615-star-wars-books/
dex
Were there actually 9 Original books written or is this just a Myth?
Raven
^ If you are asking were they nine books that they were going to turn into films the answer is no. The original Star Wars didn't pick up the Episode IV: A New Hope tag until it was re-released on its first anniversary.
Stiggy
I would have to suggest The Han Solo Trilogy. It takes place in the early life of Han Solo, and ends right where we meet him in the movies. Of the two dozen Star Wars books I've read, those would have to be the best. If you can get a copy of that trilogy, I wouldn't pass it up. It even shows how he met Chewy, and why Han has such a love for Wookies.
