Star
How do you hold on to a love that is slowly slipping away from you? Can you let goof the past when you know what is in the future? And how do you cope when youknow that every kiss is a countdown to goodbye? This is the story of a loveaffair, of Ryan and Molly and how they fell in love and were torn apart. Thefirst time Molly kissed Ryan, she knew they'd be together forever. Six yearsand thousands of kisses later she's married to the man she loves. But today, when Ryan kisses her, Molly realises how many of them she wasted because thefuture holds something which neither of them could have ever predicted... I stumbled across this book last year when I waslooking to see what books were due out for 2013. I loved the sound of it andwas counting the days down until it was available (luckily I only had to wait afew weeks). I’m so glad I read it. This is one of those books that pulls atyour heartstrings and you are still thinking about long after you read the lastpage. I think this is a book to watch out for this year. It took me a while to get in to and I was worried it wasn’t going to live up myexpectations. But luckily I wasn’t disappointed …… It starts with an emotional Molly packing up herbelongings and moving house. It’s quite clear that she is mending a brokenheart. It then jumps from past to present throughout the bookand each new chapter starts with a different kiss that Molly and Ryan have had throughouttheir 6 year relationship. By the end you find out what all the different kisses were about and why they are such a strong theme throughout the book. It's cleverly written and not what you expect. I think the main issue is dealt with well and it makes you think. I personally think Ali Harris has done a wonderful job of bringing it to the forefront. It's an issuse alot of pople turn a blind eye to and not take seriously enough. Maybe people after reading this will think twice and in some cases not be so vain! I don’t want to give too much away. Just stick with it.The book transforms into something completely different and takes a differentroute altogether. For anyone who loved ‘Me Before You’ by JoJo Moyes thenI think you will love this. It’s a book about love and not taking life forgranted. Enjoy what you have. If you don’t cry over this book then you musthave a heart of stone. I read this book at work and I sat and bawled my eyesout. It is one emotional book!!!!!! YOU WILL NEED TISSUES AND LOTS OF THEM!!!!!
