1. The house is yourself.

2. The three objects are the things you do best.

3. The bear is a problem. What you do with the bear is what you do with a problem.

Is that a euphemism?

You know perfectly well it's not a euphemism! :P

 :tease:

Geraldine Granger: So, what do you call a budgie that's been run over by a lawnmower?

Alice Tinker: I don't know; what *do* you call a budgie that's been run over by a lawnmower?

Geraldine Granger: Shredded tweet.

Alice Tinker: So the budgie's dead, then?

Geraldine Granger: Yes, I should think so.

[laughing]

Geraldine Granger: It's shredded tweet.

Alice Tinker: Poor little thing. It didn't even see the lawnmower coming. How could it know that death was just round the corner?

Geraldine Granger: Alice, look, I'm not going to tell you these jokes any more if you're going to keep on responding like this. It's not a real budgie, OK? It's not a real lawnmower; it's just a joke.

Alice Tinker: So the budgie's not dead?

Geraldine Granger: No, it never got born.

Alice Tinker: Never got born?

Geraldine Granger: No.

Alice Tinker: Poor little thing. Oh, so much beauty. So much potential; it never got born. Never saw the light of the sun, or felt the gentle rustling of the breeze through its feathers. Never went "tweekle, tweekle, tweekle, give me my Cottle Fizz."

Geraldine Granger: Get out now. Go on, get out!

ETA I just read the spoilery bit and I think I must be a very nice person who is good at reading and writing letters - LOL! And I DO tend to spend a lot of time pondering problems to find a good way to work them out...

5. What do you do with the cup?

Look at it and then leave it there.

What you do with the cup is what you do with your love.

1) A log cabin surrounded by huge pine trees and birds sitting at bird-feeders

2) A set of keys, a small lamp, and a framed picture of family

3) Nothing, I back slowly away and into the house!

4) It's white ceramic with a green Starbucks symbol on the front

5) Put it in the sink and wash it because if I can see it I obviously left it on the counter after I used it that morning

So, I see myself as a log cabin in the woods, hmmm...  Like I'm sturdy, solid and unmoveable maybe?  I also drive/lock things up well, light things well and love my family.  Nice!  It's true, I run away from problems :lurker:.  My love for Starbucks knows no bounds!

This last one confuses me... I leave my love lying around and then toss it in a sink to wash it?  Huh.

  • 1 month later...

A little log cabin in the middle of nowhere. Probably abandoned for several years

On the table there are hemmn... a an apple, an knife and a plate? (makes no sense assuming it has been abandoned)

I watch the bear with curiosity. I've never seen a bear before ^-^

A white simplistic chermamic mug with "make my day" on it.

I would go looking for a kettle and see if I can make some tea to poor in the the cup and enjoy my afternoon watching the bear ^.^

Yeah, I guess this is not really working that well with me. I've never been abandoned so the log cabin seems inaccurate  I wrote down what I would like to find. The objects have the same problem. I just described the things commonly found on the tables in the game "skyrim" and since i just played that game it was the first thing that came to mind. I'm no good with cooking, don't like apples more then any other fruit and I don't use plates if I can help it (I hate doing the dishes).
The bear is a problem? Oh, I treated it as something interesting to watch. Bears are often scared for humans so its not like I couldn't chase it away if I wanted too.
The mug is another one. I actually like strange and unusual people. Simplistic and white doesn't really hold that much appeal. I described my favorite mug though. I use them for tea mostly so that's what the last answer comes from. ^.^.

1. You're out walking. You come upon a house. Describe it.

A small cottage, with an upstairs as opposed to bungalow.  It is covered in Ivy and has a secluded and shaded garden.

It has large windows and a lot of foilage and trees around it.

2. Inside, there's a table. There are three objects are on the table. What are they?

A pen, a piece of blank paper and a candleabra with lit candles

3. Outside, you see a bear. What do you do with the bear?

Stick my tongue out at him and run back into the house.

4. Inside you find a cup. Describe the cup.

It is a mug, it is white and large with a small design or funny comment on it and a slight chip at the lip

5. What do you do with the cup?

Put it back in cupboard

1. Well I suppose I do have big eyes, as with the windows and I do like my privacy hence the foilage, a sense of protection.

2. Ahhh writers block, buying stationery and being a fire hazard  - that is actually quite apt, the latter in particular i was deemed as being when I used to steal heaters at work.

3. Actually so true with how i deal with problems, i confront them irreverently and then shut them out.

4. My cup is described as my ideal cup that I have here, it actually is the one i use most as it holds a gallon of tea and coffee as opposed to just a cup full and though chipped, it remains my comfort cup and that everythign is good with the world.  My husband has put up a lot with me and he is my safe place.

5. I think under Human Rights Law I am not allowd to put my husband in the cupboard so i will have to review this one.
